Autofunnel Year One: Innovation, Controversy, and the Future

Autofunnel AI - Innovation, Controversy and the Future

Dear Autofunnelers,

I’m excited to announce we’ve just hit a huge milestone. Autofunnel has just crossed the one-year anniversary of helping people build funnels, books, sites, copy, and more with AI.

It’s been an absolute freaking blast, and as you’ll see in this first blog post, we’re just getting started.

First, a quick recap…

AUTOFUNNEL: YEAR ONE

When we set out to create Autofunnel, we had a very simple goal. We wanted to create the world’s easiest landing page and website funnel builder. I’d personally suffered through using Clickfunnels and the like for years, and really wanted something that was dead simple.

That’s when Autofunnel was born…

THE RELEASE

In June, we launched the version of Autofunnel you guys use today. This VERY simple first version only had one single page that could be generated with AI, but it was still amazing to see in action. It was, in fact, the first AI webpage creator on the market.

After we built this simple version, I wanted to figure out a way to promote the software. After very little deliberation, I decided to use the oldest (and most successful) trick in my book:

Create a book to promote it.

This has worked in every single business I’ve ever started. In fact, the previous software company my Autofunnel co-founder, Nik Rudenko, and I created was called Buildbox.

I made a book to promote that software and its sales grew so strong we had an 8-figure exit 3 months later.

… All because of a book.

I wanted to capture lightning in a bottle again with a book to promote Autofunnel, but with a twist.

We wanted to use AI to create the book.

The problem was, every software out there (including ChatGPT) was really terrible at doing it.

That’s when we decided to build Bookle, the second product in our roadmap, which debuted in August of 2023.

THE CONTROVERSY

We sold thousands of copies of books this year promoting Autofunnel, Bookle, and AI. Once again, this oldest trick in the book worked flawlessly. We had tons of happy customers that found us by first reading my books.

We were ecstatic, but what happened next shocked us.

As many of you saw, the more ads we ran, the more we found out that AI is much more controversial than we first thought.

We had literally thousands of seething comments from people who were scared of AI taking over. Our customers were battling them back, and it was truly one of the wildest things I’ve seen in my 15 years of marketing online.

It took me a while to realize what was going on… and then it hit me.

PEOPLE WERE SCARED

And honestly, I get it. They should be. I absolutely do think AI is coming for some jobs, but at the same time, it’s going to vastly reward the people who utilize it.

Case in point:

With Autofunnel and Bookle, you can easily create a business (or new promotion) in less than an hour. This opens up a lot of possibilities for solopreneurs but also scares the people who were selling those services.

This unfortunately has been the same story for every new technological innovation. Just as the internet revolutionized communication and e-commerce, AI is poised to redefine how we approach business, marketing, and creativity. It’s not about resisting change but about adapting and leveraging these advancements to stay ahead.

The key is to be proactive, to learn and master these tools before they become ubiquitous. By embracing AI, you not only safeguard your career but also position yourself as a leader in this new era. Don’t be one of those who fear change; be one of those who shape the future.

Embrace the potential of AI. The future belongs to those who are not afraid to innovate.

If you don’t, then it makes sense to be scared.

As a company, we want to create products for people who understand this. We are creating products for the future.

THE FUTURE OF AUTOFUNNEL

Since Bookle, we’ve created CopyCraft to write sales copy, and built an insane number of improvements in the software.

And while I’m proud of what we’ve built — and have vastly enjoyed working with the thousands of new customers who have joined Autofunnel — what we’re going to announce next is going to completely change the way people work on their online business.

See, we’ve been secretly at work on a much bigger vision.

A vision that lets you literally build things that took weeks and months before, with a push of a button.

This includes multiple new products, and a few surprises that will shock even our closest-watching fans.

This is all part of Autofunnel 2.0, which we will be revealing next Thursday (July 25th) at NOON PST.

I’ll be hosting a live Zoom call where you’ll see all the new features, new products, and more.

If you’re already a current Autofunnel subscriber, then I think you’ll be very surprised — and excited — when you see what you’re getting upgraded to.

If you’re not yet a subscriber, then make sure to be LIVE on the event as we’ll have a special offer for you right when it’s announced.

See you soon,

Trey Smith

P.S. – Thursday next week I’m going to unveil AUTOFUNNEL 2.0 on a LIVE Zoom Call.  Would love for you to join me, register here:

  1. It’s like Christmas all the time with the upgrades and awesome features that just keep on coming!

  2. How exciting. I’ve recently embraced A.I. to help me quickly generate album covers for my weekly song releases. I’ll bet your Autofunnel would pair well for me to launch my new entity, which releases books and box sets of music. Would love to learn more

    Thanks!

  3. Hey Trey and Pavle,

As a solopreneur from an underserved community with big dreams of becoming a publisher, Autofunnel 2.0 really hits home for me. It would equip me with the essential tools to streamline content creation, build a loyal audience, and turn my vision into reality.

I’m especially drawn to the AI writing by Copycraft and the interactive ebooks from Bookle.ai. These features are not just impressive but hold massive potential in crafting captivating content and boosting reader engagement – every publisher’s dream combination!

I’m working every angle to put aside the capital to invest in this to start my business. I am excited to link up with fellow enthusiasts who recognize how Autofunnel 2.0 can uplift solopreneurs like us, particularly in communities like mine. I’m confident that sharing my journey could bring valuable perspectives to the Autofunnel community.
Hats off to you for crafting such a powerful suite of tools. Much appreciated!

Can’t wait to be a part of the Autofunnel family,
    Jaden Beall
